Course info
This course covers units such as professional framework of the counsellor, counselling relationship, client diversity, service user-centred approach, personal awareness in counselling, counselling concepts and skills, and supervision and self-reflection. This course forms the first course of formalised counsellor practitioner training.
How much will it cost?
£264; £213 registration or exam fee; £35 other cost.
Assessment method
Assessments are made through written assignments, oral work, completion of a journal, presentations, a minimum of 10 hours of personal counselling therapy, and an external assessment.
Entry Requirements
Students should have level 2 Certificate in Counselling skills and need an initial diagnostic assessment and must attend an interview. Students will need to comply with the CPCAB awarding body course requirements and must be 18 years or over.
