This course is aimed at students who have a specific interest in the sports industry and has been designed to develop a range of employability skills and techniques, understanding, personal qualities and attitudes essential for success in working life. It also provides specialised studies directly relevant to sport, which provide them with important skills when seeking employment in the industry. They will study units such as customer services, taking part in sport and the healthy body. It also helps them progress on to a range of further courses at Level 2 for example, the BTEC First Diploma in Sport.
